Founded in 1992, the Ohio Women's Business Center, operated by OWBRN, provides in depth one-on-one business counseling, training and education services that promote economic independence for women interested in starting or growing a business. Services include business management counseling, life-skills development, loan packaging, business plan development, financial literacy training, mentoring and WBE Certification. A 15-week business plan development course is provided through the "Evening Entrepreneurial Training Program." During this course, individuals learn how to start a business and develop a business plan. Through the Ohio WBC, Internet training, e-commerce training, economic-literacy classes, industry-specific consultants, mentorship and networking, and conference opportunities are also provided. Services are offered through our partner organizations located throughout the state of Ohio.
